Help!!!

I have a black CLS and I have tried and tried to wash this damn thing and not have water spots but no matter what I do there they are:swear2:

If I wax after washing does that remove the water spots or does it just cover up the spots

 

Try to wash out of the sun or in a garage. I wash under the partial shade of a tree and dry my car off fast before the water dries. I also use a California water blade to make the job quicker (although I have concerns that the blade may cause some fine scratches/swirls).

If plain soap and water are not removing your spots, you can use a very weak acid solution to wash away baked on water spots (actually solubilize some of the dehydrated minerals that bake on to make the spot). Mix a capful or two of white vinegar into a jug or squirter of water and clean away. Wash the car after.

 

For the second part of the question: depending on the wax you use, you are probably just covering up the spots. Zaino is non-abrasive, so it won't effectivly 'clean' the car when you wax. Other waxes are slightly abrasive and they may remove the spot.

I'd try to polish a spot free car and not depend on the product to remove the spots for you.

 

I have seen meguires quik detailer and final inspection. Has anyone had any experince with these and do you think either of them will remove the water spots. BTW the spots are only 2 days old
