I definitely always use a nozzle to clean. The pressure works well to get crud off the car especially on the lower body panels, and bird crapp as well.

for washing, a nozzle works best but realistically there is little need for pressure beyond what a garden hose with a decent nozzle can supply. Most of the time even a nozzle on a hose is overkill. I was referring to the rinse cycle(s) for using no nozzle whatsoever.

$40??

You can purchase two Ultimate Stainless Steel Nozzles from Costco for $24.99. That is $5 less than you pay for one on most online detailer web sites.

I'm looking for the exact same answer - is it worth it? My family and I have gone through at least 4 nozzles every year for the past couple years.

The Griot's nozzle may just be too rich for my blood though.

What are you guys using?
