Who's a Twitter'er? I find myself relating to general crap on Twitter vs. detailing stuff. I guess thats the beauty of it?

I am not a Twitter person, at all. Will not do it. Facebook is enough.

Depends on who you are.

If you're a small business owner, you could use it to get out short messages to your customers.
e.g.,
"New product released, the newly redesigned XYZ 3000 (link)",
"Use coupon code ASDF for 10% off at asdf.com, valid til Monday"
"Check out our detail of an NBP Acura TL (link)"

The general status updates that are like "I'm eating this pizza and it's delicious" could better be left to a personal account.

Twitter can be a source of news if you use it the right way...and that doesn't even require you to have an account.

When major events happen, twitter is usually stormed with peoples' status updates regarding that event.

Yes, see thats kind of my problem. I have a business name associated, but I end up using it for stuff like MLB, cars stuff, Deadliest Catch etc....Its not solely being used for West Coast Detail Supply. Hence my dilemma. Course, I dont mind being personable with my business either. Matter of fact, I dont think Ive ever made a business announcement on there anyway.....lol.
So I guess, I use it more for fun, then anything! So be it!

There are no rules for twitter usage

Just throwing it out there that some people use it as a way to distribute quick info about their business to customers.
