Teaser - My towels

Below is a picture with all of my MF towels (I think?), I counted 72 towels total, lol.

I'm in the process of re-organizing my detailing supplies, once I'm done I'll put up more pictures, lol.

I have over 50 still in the new packaging ... and last count +/- between 16 x 16 and drying towels of all levels close to 70.

I haven't the patience to bag each one. They are stored in dedicated totes, rough service, polish removal, sealant removal, high end paint, drying general and drying good.

All towels are washed after use .. dried and inspected as I fold them.

What is your best drying towel? Where did you get it? I "need" some new drying towels.

I have 5 different WW drying towels and the best functioning ones are the Pacific ones I got from Exceldetail. I don't know if he still carries them .. were like $8 for a 24 x 36 and not as boutique looking as some but the softest and dry the best.

Just started sorting through my towels this weekend. It's amazing how many of them I have! Not quite the count that CU2MIKE has amassed but close.

Price is reasonable (4 for $30 I believe), the WW he sells are pretty damn good too.

Nice collection you got there! I have over 50 towels myself hahaha! I can't believe I have that much. Nice organized shelf too! Thanks for sharing!

Mind if I ask where did you get the blue towel with the black outline? It's the 2nd towel above the bottom left corner.

Thanks!

Yeah I'm a nut too. I have a whole shelving rack in my garage dedicated to towels. Tons and tons and tons of yellow ones I got from a huge package at Costco (or Sam's Club...can't remember). They're pretty high quality for what they cost.

Yep, those towels are actually pretty decent, but I don't know if I trust them on paint..... Haven't been brave enough to do that yet, lol

Those yellow Costco towels when new are very safe on paint after about 10 washes they get moved down to other jobs.

I had a black Passat that was swirl free and thats what I used on it .. a few customers have high end black cars and I use them on thiers too.

I didn't get a response. Maybe there was a mishap in the message transmission.

Thanks for the info!

They're very soft! I haven't had any problems, but then again, I have the easiest color car ever. Silver.

Good to hear coming from the pro. I've had them for a year or so and literally have washed all of them maybe three times. There are so many that they don't have to get washed all that often.

Wow so many colors. I have a few tones of blue, white, yellow, and a few random colors from my Black Wow package and Meg's clay kit.

For the Meg's D300 correction compound, do you use it with the MF pads or use it normally with other pads?

I buy those SAMS towels too. Do you guys use the microfiber specific detergent when you wash them. Hell I remember back in the day when microfiber towels were premium, now there are good and bad microfiber towels. I guess everything can be copied poorly.

I use both, with great results.
I've actually tried the D301 finishing wax with a LC CCS orange pad with great results too, lol.

I'd try and wash them by themselves on the heavy duty cycle with Dawn if you have a top loader ... sometimes they are recoverable ..

To keep dust and moisture off my towels (I live by the beach so the beach breeze brings in lots of those).
Oh and it looks cool, lol.

I live in a condo, and everything has to be kept out of the garage because they are all "fire hazards" .
So I must keep everything in my living room
