Squeaky seals

04 CGP 6spd 40k...for some reason, starting this spring/summer most of the door seals and especially the sunroof seem to be squeaking almost constantly....any ideas on how to take care of this besides turning up the stereo? I saw the "fix" for the sunroof with the tape, but that seems pretty lame....im thinking there has to be something i can put on the seals, like a talc or something, but obviously, not white.

A few times a year i 303 all of the seals, and have never used anything else.

The sunroof was tough, as you have to play with the different positions to get at all the seals (half open, tilted up, half closed), but +1 for the silicone lube. as I always say:

LUBE HER UP!

I've used silicone lubricant on various rattles throughout the car, including a few rubber seals. A good thing about silicone lubricant is that it's not corrosive to the rubber. Unfortunately, it's a temporary remedy as the lubricant will eventually wear away with rain, cleaning with 303, etc.

On sunroof squeak - when my 2001 CL was new the sunroof squeaked constantly and it was awful. Brought into dealer service dept and they said this was a typical/common problem and they fixed it without me trying to hassle with lub myself. And now 6 yrs. later with the same car I have not had sunroof squeak again. So I suggest taking it into dealer service dept. Back then I don't think they even charged me because of commonality of problem or something.
