Are they light surface scratches, or ones you can feel with the back of your fingernail?

If the scratches are light ones, just work over the area with your regular car wax-- that is usually enough to remove minor cosmetic scratches without resorting to polishing or rubbing compounds or buying "Scratch X" and similar products.

Nobody in this thread has chosen a valid product or solution. They're to many misconception on items when you don't know how to detail your car.

Only way to fix a scratch is to buff it most of the time. Turtle Wax is horrible.
Scratch X, I believe, contains fillers that just hides the scratches temporarily.

I would advise you to visit the Wash & Wash section. I use to think all these products from the auto parts store was good until I realize I was wrong.

M105/M205 on a applicator would do wonders more than any of these auto parts detailing items.
