Is it safe to do what i just did?

Hi guys, i attempted to try these steps and was wondering if it's damaging to the leather?

#1 spray 303 protectant and wipe off till it dry.
#2 condition with Meg leather cleaner.

or the other way around #2 then #1????

I must say my first attempt looks great.

also any word on a good product to treat the TL dash?

I usually alternate with the 303 and conditioner every 4-6 weeks. Depending on my mood, I'll use either a diluted woolite solution (12;1; clean, rinse & dry) or a damp MF towel and then apply the conditioner or the 303.

The 303 Protectant is not a cleaner. They make a separate cleaner.

No. Read the labels man. Cleaning and conditioning are 2 completely different things.

So, find a leather CLEANER (my fav is Zainos), then use either the 303 protectant or the megs conditioner.

BTW, a popular cleaner for leather you can make yourself is to mix Woolite with water.

To clean the dash, use a clean damp cloth with only water. When dry use the 303. You can't beat it for UV protection.
