Removing Pin Stripes

Looking to get rid of the pin stripes on my 99 tl. anyone ever done this successfully? I can get some off just w/ my fingernails, but takes forever. Also want to get the residue off w/ o damaging paint.

they should be painted on NSX, so that won't work.

Best bet honestly would be to wetsand, if they are painted
