Honestly, anything that touches your car will cause scratches.

I say either live with it or buy a leaf blower and blow it off the car.
With 10 coats of Z the dust should just fly off when you get the car to speed.

yup, what NSXNEXT said is correct. anything that touches your car will cause scratches. The cali duster just shoves the dirt around which causes scratches. If your car is that dirty darrin just wash it again and no more dust.

Yes what everyone says is correct, anything that touches will can scratch. What you can do is use, if you want to spend a little time and car is strictly dust and not dirt. Can use Cali car duster, then once dust is off, use a quick detailer such as Mother's Showtime(will leave car feeling like just waxed). I had a black car, and used this method all the time and my car always looked amazing. be sure to wax regularly though.

I agree w/ Chopper about the quick wax after the cali-duster . I got the duster and am pretty happy w/ it . However I used it a hell of a lot more on my Emerald Green 3.5rl , than I do w/ my bright colored CL . I almost never see the dust on this color , and when I do...then it's usually caked on so I just wash it . I would only recommend the duster to a darker colored car .

I use the duster, and detailer on my white CL-S (think i am still coping with the loss of a dark colored car though). Bought the white one with the hopes of not having to always be cleaning my car, but I am told that it doesn't matter, i have an obsession and will do it regardless (hope they are wrong). =)
