Quick Question Regarding Sealant
I only have time this weekend to wash/clay/polish/seal my brand new TSX. The next 2 weeks are going to be kinda hectic. My Klasse High Gloss Sealant Glaze is scheduled to arrive mid-next week ie. I won't have it in time.
What do you think If I wash/clay it polish it up with Megs hand polish then put on a carnauba to hold me for a while...
Two weeks from now, would I have to somehow get the carnauba off before I apply the Klasse polymer?? Or could I just simply wash the car normally then apply the sealant?
Thanks

You will need to strip the wax prior to HGSG; in general sealants dislike bonding to waxes, and HGSG is one of the pickier ones. The nice thing is it takes only a few minutes to stripe a wax. Here is what you do:
Wash thoroughly
Get a spray bottle and fill it with 50% rubbing alcohol (the off the counter 70% isopropylene alcohol) and 50% water.
Shake the solution then spray on to a panel; wipe clean with a soft mf cloth.
Repeat over entire car.
Your wax is gone, seal away.

No - claying too often is as bad as not claying enough; just give it a good wash then use the isa:water solution; when it's good and dry apply the sealant and enjoy the shine!

What color is the TSX? Sealing without actually "polishing" after claying concerns me, especially on dar colors. More often then not, micromarring occurs.

Black
So do I need to use the Meg's polish before I seal... so in my case it would be...
wash/clay/polish/caranuaba ---> 2weeks ---> 50:50 isprop spray --> repolish/seal?
Or when you said "polishing" did you mean I need to get a better polish or actual orbital polisher?? Any advice you give will be well appreciated. Today is my last day of freedom for a while. It's too bad that my Klasse is coming in late then I wouldn't have to go rhough this.
Thanks.
BTW I have both
Meg's Deep Crystal System Paint Cleaner
Meg's Deep Crystal System Polish
