yea i saw on ebay he said something about the valcro backing he said 100 plus shipping I think they may be a good deal...

Is it used? That backing plate is not well suited for foam pads, its not very rigid. The problem with used PC's is you dont know how many hrs are on them. Typically after about 300 run hours, the brushes weaken, and you start to lose the rotation. Brushes are about $30.00 (?), then your in brand new shape. Ive gone through two PC's this way.....

for 150 bucks, you guys should just get the new one, it comes with a replacement warranty, and backing plate...plus a bag to carry it in....

This polisher is not designed for heavy compounding and will not do well removing heavy swirl marks or paint imperfections. To remove heavy swirls, scratches and other paint imperfections requires a professional, circular polisher such as the Makita 9227 or DeWalt 849.

OK after doing some of my own research, I think the PC7424 would be a good purchase for me.

Am I better off paying $110-120+ from here for just the basic packages or spend $200+ on this package?
