Pollen

I just washed my car 2 days ago and right now it is covered with pollen. Is it ok to go over it with some quick detailer or should i just wash it again?

I tend to encounter the same problem. You're probably safe, but instead of QD, how about a thorough rinse-and-dry?

Fishytl,

Im in the Atlanta area too, so I share your hatred for the pollen. I use a California Duster each night and then the Meguiars Quick Detail. I read up on meguiars online forum that the Duster won't cause scratches on the paint. $18 at Advanced.

Your first recourse is/should be to keep the surface as slick as possible. I would recommend using a spray wax frequently to get you thru the pollen bloom. This will help deter pollen or other natural/environmental fallout from adhereing. Use the duster, but use common sense (x2).
