How to change a pollen filter in a 03 CL-S?
Should you change your pollen filter at 30,000 miles? I bought a used acura CL-S from a non-acura dealer. I called acura about the pollen filter, they told me that the pollen filter is located in the glove conpartment. Is that true? Is is a hard job to do? Cuz I really do not want to bring it to acura if I can change the filter myself. (they get enough of our hard earned money) Can someone give me some info on that? Thank you for your help.

Can search for cabin Air filter. Yes you should change it out. When I had my CLS, I changed it at ~ 40k miles and it was turning dark, even black on some spots.
Very easy to do, remove glovebox, remove two screws, little cutting is involved, but nothing major. The posts on this will help you greatly. again, very easy to do.

See post #6 here for instructions. I just replaced mine after 2 years/7k miles and they were dirtier than I thought they would be. Damn Brooklyn air quality! Replacing them is a piece of cake.
