Pain touch-up advice!
Pain touch-up advice!
Hey guys,
I really need some advice on my current situation. My 07 CGP TSX has a few little nicks above the driver's door handle. Anyway's, these were there prior to me purchasing my car brand new (dealership must have touched them up prior to selling me the car). Anyway's, I was too eager to buy the car, and I didn't look over it good enough - so it's my fault.
However, the dealership did a pretty good job, and it's looked fine (virtually un noticeable, however, recently, it appears as if the paint is starting to kind of chip away at the outer edge. I can see like little white dots, which I'm guessing is the primer underneath the touch-up paint. Well, these couple of dots are tiny - i'm talking like the size of a pin head. They are, however, kind of noticeable because I am so anal. Furthermore, my biggest concern is this problem getting worse, and the possibility of rust. What do I do at this point? I am afraid that by trying to touch up something that small, I might make it look worse than it does now. Should I have a body shop attempt to repair this, or would calling one of those mobile touch-up services suffice? Any thoughts would be welcomed!
Thanks again!
Jeff
