Okay, so I finally clayed

So this 4th of July weekend I finally found the time to clay the car. I washed, clayed, re-washed, and waxed, and it came out AMAZING! I also did the engine bay, wheel wells, polished the exhaust tips up, and did the ENTIRE interior. The car came out absolutely amazing!! Thanks to all you guys who gave me tips on what to do, what products to use, etc!

However, today I helped a buddy of mine do his Mini Coop S, and just as we finished claying, some heavy rains came through. Therefore, the car did not get re-washed or waxed. How long can this wait, as the next possible time to wax the car is next weekend. Is that okay, or too long to go without wax on the paint?

Just rewash it on the weekend then wax it ... the time frame won't hurt anything.

Might want to gove it a quick QD to remove any clay contaminants or streaking, also provides a little protection for a week or so........Or, as Dale stated, youll be ok for a week.
