New Meguiar's Polymer Wax

Someone in a warmer climate please pick some of this stuff up and report back. Supposedly they are shooting to take business away from Zaino with this stuff.

I'd give it a shot. From the video it appears it has a lot of fillers. Except for an abrasive, you can't fill in that much paint damage with just a polish.

Maybe I'll try it if I can get Meguiar's to send me a sample. I use Zaino on my CLS and I love the shine and smoothness, but I really dislike the dust it attracts! I wonder if this NXT Gen stuff does the same or not.

Fill, not take away. Only abrasives take away swirls. Once the product evaporates/wears off, swirls are back. True with any polish/wax that doesn't have an abrasive.

When the product was released my tech rep from Meguiars called me up to let me know about the 4 different products available and asked if I wanted to get some of it. Needless to say...I order some:

NXT Generation Car Wash
NXT Generation Tech Wax
NXT Generation Spray Wax
NXT Generation Tech Protectant Spray

I should be receiving these products shortly and will let you guys know of the results and hopefully get some pics up.

My only concern is that its not suppose to give a wet look, but more of a deep dark shine. I personnally like the wet look. I hope that it has some features of the wet look.

When I receive the product I'll probably use the Claybar, Fine Cut, Premium Paint Cleaner, and then Swirl Remover before applying the NXT products to ensure I start off with a prepped surface.

Wish me luck guys...

Raptor, how do you use the swirl remover? Do you use an orbital buffer to apply it or do you just wipe on wipe off? I've got some swirls on my trunk/spoiler and more recently, some lighter swirls on the sides and hood (no time to wash so let the dealer do it...just this once...oh well, took the risk and am paying the consequences).

i use meg's cordless orbital buffer the first few times...I've OK with doing it by hand lately though

i have the nxt wax, and it is very good. Oh my god i cant tell you how easy it is to take off. Puttting it on isnt as easy as it is to take off. It is thick, but it smells like limes. I have a white car so you really cant tell much since my paint is in pristine condition also, but it works very nicely. I like it, and when i use it on my s2000 a blue it prob. be easier to notice a difference. But the weather sucks so i am holding back for now. It is pretty good.

I need someone that uses Zaino to do the half hood test.

I have a SSM TL so it's not gonna show much difference.

Need a black CL or TL to do this. I'd love to see it in person.

Gotta do fresh coats of Z and Meguiars.
