I have the power outlet in my CLS instead of a cigarette lighter. I plug in the air ionizer into it but nothing happens when I start up the engine. I have one of those small ones that plug directly into the outlet. Do I specifically need the cigarette lighter to get it to work or should it work with the regular 12v outlet. Please help...need to get the cigarette smell out of my car.
