Mother's Clay?

Just curious...has anyone tried this?

comes with instant detailer, 2 clay bars, and a microfiber towel...saw it for $20 somethin canadian dollars...

is this any good?

Used it last week works great

I washed the car 2 times befor i clayed it and it still pulled up some particles from the clear coat.

I found it to be a little on the too light, side. Good OTC product though. Im glad they got rid of the cleaner/wax that came with it. The MF is served a much better purpose.....

By being too light, do you mean it wont be sufficient in picking up all the dirt and getin ready for a polish or wax?

Nah, it will work, its good for "run of the mill" clays.....It will be fine unless you live close to the coast, factorys or rail stations.....

I've used it before and it's ok. I don't think it holds up well for us detailers though, hehe.
