I've got some moisture in my trunk...it's bothering me A LOT!!!
I am going to take it into the body shop next week because I think the trunk needs to be re-sealed with Silicon.
Any products I can use to dry up and remove the moisture in the trunk?
I was thinking something I saw @ Target that you would put in your house that "DampX" or something like that.
Can't remember specifically what it is but I would like to dry it up before any mold or mildew takes effect.
Please...any ideas or experience you can share would be greatly appreciated.
Would like to get on this ASAP!
Thanks in advance.
Noah

Nobody has any ideas?
Any products that are good at pulling moisture out of the interior?
I've put towels everywhere and I keep changing them because they are wet.

try maybe baking soda pouches and silica gel packets
also leave your trunk open to air dry a bit too. I'd take out the liners and stuff and let them try in the sun, then spray them with lysol or something to keep mold from growing on it.

Ive used "Damp Rid" with great success. Pulled moisture right out of drywall!!

Probably something I would have to order online...never seen them in person at a store.
Those are the little packets you see in shoe boxes or stuff like that...?
Also...Lysol spray?
I can only think of the Lysol Air Freshner Spray.
Is that what you were referring to?
Spoke with some of my local Azine buddies and they mentioned that they would have to probably pop my rear window out to re-seal it.
Thanks.
Also...I have a tiny spot in the edge of the trunk where the water is seaping in.
Hope it isn't too expensive to repair...doesn't sound like it would be but it's definitely an issue that needs to be addressed ASAP!!!

Sounds like it works then.
Thanks.

your trunk edge problem should be easy to fix noah, if it's on the sill; dry it and throw a tiny bit of bondo on there.
if you mean it's seeping through the opening between the main body and the trunklid; a little bead of silicone sealant would fix you up, just make sure to wipe it a little thinner if you use a sealer gun. AND DON'T CLOSE THE LID UNTIL IT'S DRY! glueing your trunk shut is not recommended.

Not familiar with using the stuff but sounds easy enough.
Thanks for the info.
