Is Meguires Gold Class Wax any good?
#2
It does what its supposed to, but it doesn't last very long. All carnuba-based waxes are all like this. My Dad uses Zymol, and I actually prefer it over Meguiars in terms of shine. If you want something that will last and also bring out a great shine, check out Zaino or BlackFire. They're polymer-based waxes.

Blackfire is found at http://www.properautocare.com
I haven't used Zaino, so I can't compare. But the reviews I've found comparing the two have been pretty much similar.
Most Zaino-nuts will say their shit is superior to BF, but I've been 110% satisfied with the BF results I've received. Its shine and longevity is something I've never received with any other car polish/wax.

I used to swear by Zymol, until I finally applied some Liquid Glass to the M3 - and that was the end of the Zymol. Still decideing whether or not I'm going to strip off al the Zymol/LG and Zaino it, but I think the Zaino would really make the Estoril Blue stand out.

Gold Class is alright. I would go for Megs Showtime products(tan bottles). Great shine and great protection. The Megs 3 step(purple bottles) provides a great shine but barely gives any long lasting protection.
