Leather Damage

GF took my ride the other day and found a stray dog running on the road. She picked it up and the damn thing put some slices in my leather. Anybody know is there a way to fix that kind of stuff or am I screwed?

o man

i'd say go to yer service dep't and see if it's still covered under warranty...depending on where it's cut, they may b able to replace the panel, otherwise, u may need a whole new seat, unless it's in the back where the whole panel may need to b replaced

Depends on how badly it is damaged. Lucky your gf didn't get bitten by it! Your know, rabies Too damn dangerous!!! Without replacing it, you might want to try this website. www.letherique.com They have wonderful leather care products and I think they also have some repair stuff. Check it out

you can find leather repair kits at your local Auto store. If its perforrated leather it is very difficult to repair

Thanks to everybody who responded except darrinb. That kind of stuff doesn't help anybody out. I didn't ask if my girl was dumb.

Ruffian. Damaged upholstery can be fixed. My son repairs car interiors for a living, an experienced worker can repair it so you will never know it was damaged. Maybe try the phone book if you have no other leads.

Sounds like something my wife would do. Good luck.
