My detailer that is going to do my wife's car as a belated Valentines gift has used it. I asked him if he could Zaino my wife's Nissan '95 Altima. He said he could, but he suggested a polymer/carnuba combo. I will get the name of the stuff. I asked about the Klasse and he said it was good stuff, but would yellow over time.

This guy has been doing show cars for 30 years and I can get you his name if you like (he is in LA). I was going to have my wife's car done with the Zaino, but it sits outside too much *and* he uses different approaches on different paints and situations.

He said it [the Klasse] was OK, but that there were othere newer products that were better lasting and better looking. Her car goes in on Wed for a 1-2 day work over.

I'll try to ask again for more details.

It depends on the "condition" of the car. It can range from a $25 super careful hand car wash to anything you want (Zaino, polymer/carnuba, etc). I don't want to get busted later, but I think he wants about $200 to do a complete Zaino treatment (a complete days work that would include cleaning the underbody, interior, and tons of other stuff). I just did my own Zaino, but I would like him to do Zaino treatments on my Silver CL-S when I don't have the time. The price could be less than the $200 depending on the condition of the car and what you want done. If you are interested, I could email you more info or give you a call or something...

Can you let me know what shape your car is in, for example:

How many miles?
Is it new and unscratched?

He is up in West Los Angeles. I also know of a guy in Anaheim that sells Zaino. I've only bought stuff from him, so I can't tell you how good a job he does.

Give me some more info on the condition of your car *and* if you are willing to drive up to West Los Angeles (near Overland and Santa Monica Blvd). The guy up in LA can do whatever you want.

Sorry for asking a question for a question, but I may be able to fix you up locally if you want Zaino...

Klasse is pretty good, but does not stand up in the long run. It is about the same as Zaino, and they both last about the same time. PINNACLE is a much better product and last much longer.

PINNACLE is used at most concours events and at show-car events.

Eric,

I just bought my car and it has about 1700 miles on it now. It's got a bunch of chips on the bumper, but I am going to get the X-Pel clear bra put on tomorrow. I just wanted a good coat of wax on the car for some protection. I am in Anaheim and if your guy is reasonable I'd be willing to drive. Or if Zaino isnt too difficult to put on maybe I should do it myself?
