Those are always great. You start out wiping a few areas down, and end up taking the whole thing apart! Good stuff.

Now to really aggravate your OCD...it looks like your leather could stand a full-blown Leatherique treatment.

speaking of leatherique - how hard of a process is it? looks simple enough, but that in and of itself scares me - there HAS to be more to it than a hand app, letting it sit overnight, and a wipe off, right?

I'd like to know what leatheriques long standing value is? I mean after the initial appearance, what happens after that?

For the most part, it IS that easy. Here's a tutorial on how to do it.

The long term benefits would be that of deep conditioning, and softness of the leather. When used properly, there is a significant difference in how soft and supple the leather is because of the conditioning that has taken place. I've seen leather "plump" afterwards. If it's leather that is in really bad condition (hard, dry), you can do a couple of applications and notice a difference, but it will actually continue to soften for several weeks.

I've spent a tremendous amount of time learning directly from George Pavlisko, owner of Leatherique (and trying to schedule a trip to his facility for restoration training by him), and support the value, merits, and performance of this product 100%.

A while back, Todd did leather restoration on a '98 BMW M3 with abused white leather seats. When he used Leatherique on those and I saw the transformation, I was sold. As soon as I get my Makita, Leatherique is next on the list of things for me to buy.
