How to remove Sharpie mark on dashboard?

Long story short, my niece accidentally got an inch long Sharpie marker mark and a small dot on my passenger side dashboard. Tried scrubbing it off but it's still there.

I know acetone and nail polish remover would probably do the trick, but not too sure if it's safe to use on the vinyl dash. Any other recommendations? Thanks in advance! Need help ASAP.

Rubbing alcohol on the end of a Q-tip cotton swab or a "wet wipe" (which generally contain alcohol) will likely work-- do not rub vigorously, though, and folow up with an application of 303 Aerospace protectant.

Avoid acetone, etc.

Thanks for the tip Will! I will give that a try in a bit and see how it turns out. My dashboard already has a handful of scratches/scuff marks that are an eyesore so the last thing I need on it is a permanent marker stain!

A little rubbing alcohol on the end of a Q-tip with very mild mild rubbing should do the trick nicely!!
