How to remove bugs stains/splats?

A bug scrubber type sponge would make sense but some say is scratches the paint. What is the best way to get rid of dead bugs on the front of the car with out harming/swirling the paint?

I use Turtle Wax Bug & Tar Remover. Seems to work fine on all the bugs here in FL.

TW sells a couple of similar products. I've never used the kind that comes in the spray bottle, just the regular liquid that comes in the white metal can. Like this: http://www.amazon.com/Turtle-Wax-T52.../dp/B000AMBOVC

Remember to re-apply wax to the area cleaned.

for stuff that's caked on, i've read on this forum to use a small cloth soaked in rubbing alcohol. let it rest on the bug guts for a few minutes, then remove.

I wet the area and drape an old blanket over it and soak the blanket and leave it for a 1/2 hour then use a wet Bounce sheet on them .. for stuborn ones left use Windex on a soft cloth .. either way your going to have to rewax.

Saturation over time is the key! Agreed Jesstzn.....although im not sure where the dryer sheet comes in as useful? Is it just the grainy fabric which lends itself to removal by attrition?
