Hi.

Whenever i use a liquid wax on my RBP 06 TSX I get a smearing / Ghosting / Streaking that looks horrible at dusk. Hard to tell in direct sunlight but it sucks otherwise.

When I use NuFinish Scratch remover, this goes away.

I'm thinking about doing the mother's 3 step process this weekend and need some advice on how to get an iron clad cleaner and wax treatment done that won't leave me with these streaks.

And what's better for my baby - PASTE or LIQUID?

The NF SR is a cleaner as well. So its probably removing the oils remaining from the liquid Nuba.
What type of towels are you removing the wax with? Try to clean it up with a QD or warm water. Souldnt be a problem that way, as equally effective, and spare the clear coat!

 

First off what wax?? And if its carnuba based the heat is prolly breaking it down and showing the streaks. Streaks can also be from applying too thick and its not setting up.

Try applying thinner and letting the panel sit longer .. eg.. wax fender, door, door take off fender, wax fender , take off door.
