How Much Microfiber?
How Much Microfiber?
Will some wax expert tell me how many Microfiber clothes and
of what type and size would I need to apply a typical coat of
paste waste to a TL?
I have a handful of Microfibers for windows and stuff but
I am sure there are better quality ones and I certainly
don't want to scratch the paint. I know these things
vary alot.
Send me some links to ones people like. I have no idea
if 2-3 will wax/clean the whole car or do I need 10-20 of
them???
Thanks!

You should use a foam or terry cloth applicator pad to apply the wax. Go to any auto parts store to get them. The MF is good to remove excess wax after it's dried and to do final polishing. You do not need to use them to apply wax. You should only need 2 or 3 to remove wax/final polish.

With 2-3, you can probably remove a layer of wax from a car. I prefer to have about 10 standing by. 16"x16" is what I use.

I haven't had much success with MicroFiber on the exterior of my car. The Big Blue Waffle Weave didn't dry as expected, and other MicroFiber towels just don't seem to take the wax off my car as well as a 100% US white cotton towel. Zaino even recommends using the 100% white cotton towel made in the USA to remove polish/wax.
Agreed.

you've gotta be crazy. Give the big blue a few uses to break in, but other then that Microfiber is FAR superior to 100% cotton. Go look at what zaino now recommends, it's microfiber. Even Meguiars and the other big companies are now recommending it over 100% cotton.
