Help Pleaseee

hey guys, there is a image somewhere on the forums that show a computer generated image of a cars paint. its layered with paint, clear coat, contaminants, wax. and then the thread goes on to say how clay bar gets rid of the contaminants and leaves behind the original finish. does anybody know what im talking about?! or does anybody have the link to that image?!??! i need it badly for a report im doing, its due at 6 thanks

there are great pics at www.bettercarcare.com but the damn site down.. I'm trying to get pics from somewhere else. I know exactly where thay are too, there is an article titled "Hoy to Clay your car"..b Dave Bynon,

I can't cut and paste it!!! If you download the "Autopia Guide to detailing" on the Autopia site you will be able to see it.. not sure if you can find a way to cut and paste, there was an option to print though..might work in your case

it is a good article, if you have time I would get some of your info from there as well, Dane Bynon's advice is like scripture!!

I'm almost sure the pic on the bettercarcare site was more descriptive, check today it might be back online, I've never seen it offline before?? wierd


Looking at it now I see it is only a primer and a clear colour coat... might not work, I know the other one showed the clearcoat the primer the paint and the metal..
