whats up guys? i have a 2005 tsx, w/o nav, i bought a sub and an amp, the amp doesnt need the remote wire because it has the DC option, all i did was splice the rear speaker and connected it to the amp , but i need help.... when the volume is low the bass sounds good. when i turn it up the amp goes into protection mode. I tried to play around with the input levels on the amp but nothing is helping. =( what should i do? should i just hook the amp up to the radio with a remote wire ? or what! pleaseee help. thanks

Did you use a loc? What kind of amp is it?

Most likely is your speaker impedance is too low, check your sub wiring, total load impedance can’t be less than the amp is specified to drive.
