Goo Gone

Hello,

I've been using Goo Gone today to remove the wheel weight residue from my rims. Anyway, when finished, I wiped down the area that the Goo Gone was applied with a wet microfiber towel. I didn't have time to wash my rims, but I figured at least wiping it with water would be smart. However, if there is any remaining Goo Gone on the rim, will it harm the finish?

Also, I noticed that 2 of my lug nuts (tips of them) is kind of chewed up. Will this rust? Is there anything I can do to prevent this from happening?

Thanks much!

Wiping the goo gone with water will be fine

As far as the nuts go if the finish (chrome ) is broken through it prolly will rust.

Just as long as you wash it off, you should be fine. As for the lug nuts...I'm sure they're dirt cheap at your local Acura parts counter.
