full day

I just spent 5 hours putting Zaino on my car. I dont know how I lived without ZFX. First time I put more than 1 coat on in a day. I am dog tired now. I didn't even want to drive the car when I was finished.

I used ZFX for the first time today. It was 45 degrees and I don't think it dried any faster....I went out to the garage 2 hours later and it was like Zainoing without ZFX.....YES I MIXED IT RIGHT....maybe it was just to cold

acur8ly ... I know your pain ... last Saturday I Dawn'd and then spent another 1 1/2 hours cleaning the rims, followed by de-badgeing the trunk. Last Sunday I clayed and did 2 coats of Z5 - followed by another coat of Z5 mid-week. I just finished taking off my 2nd coat of Z2 which was applied today, and I will put on/take off 2 more coats tomorrow (all ZFX enhanced). mucho work considering I've not hand waxed any car for the past dozen years, but results of my labor are readily apparent. Oh, I agree with you assessment of the visor - there is something up there that will not come out no matter what I try to do to remove it.

After looking at my car this morning all that work yesterday was worth it. I wish I could put 2 more coats on, my girlfriend would not appriciate that tho.

Has anyone else mixed z2+z5? I did that yesterday in the zfx, it was 3/4 z2 1/4 z5. Thats just me being lazy.

Nicky as far as the zfx goes, the first coat was hard to put on but it dried really fast. It got a lot easier to apply after doing the z6

Y2k3cl-s I left the visor off, I kinda wished I knew it sratched the paint earlier so I could have removed it before it could have done any damage. I hardly ever use my sunroof so I think its going to stay off.

did you notice that you seem to get a lot more mileage out of the Z2 than from the Z5? I used exactly one ounce for each coat of Z5, but I had a good 1/3 ounce or more of Z2 left over after yesterdays applications (including wheels). today, I mixed probably about 1 2/3 ounces, and still had some Z2 left over after both coats were put on. I'm inclined to believe that you might be able to get 3 coats of Z2 out of one 2 ounce bottle (ZFX enhanced), and the Z6 probably has something to do with the ability to 'spread' the Z2 out a bit further.
I'll probably re-install my visor as it at least covers the 'line' that it created - and I do open my sunroof almost constantly when its not raining and the visor does help buffer the wind.

I noticed that with the z2 it did go a little further than it used to but only on the second coat. The first coat took a lot.

I know just how you feel. Saturday I washed, vacumed, cleaned the interior, and put three coats of Z-5. I also Zaino'd my dad's Harley. It took me about seven hours,:o but the results are amazing. I can't wait to apply a few coats of Z-2. I clayed the car on Monday with great results as well. I highly recommend anyone who is serious about detailing to clay.
