Waxing in circular motion???

Hey guys when waxing is it bad to wax in circular motions? People have told me that that is the reason that i have so many swirly's on my paint. ALso what should i do to take off the wax? Up and down, or circular. Thanks

Straight lines only....it reduces the chance of swirls.

I do front to back on the horizontal surfaces (hood, roof, trunk) and up and up and down on the verticals. It doesn't reduce swirls or microscratching, but they appear less noticeable.

Not only waxing in circles can cause swirlies but improper washing too! Most swirlies are caused by this believe it or not!
