Found the absolute best cleaner for bugs, road tar, etc.

It's called Simple Green. I had some Meguiar's Bug and Tar remover before that you sprayed on a buffed off--worthless! I've used 409 and it was ok, but I ran out and used this bottle of Simple Green my roommate had and I have never seen anything like it. It's a household cleaner. Just spray it on your disgusting matter and let it sit for like maybe 30 sec and wipe off with a rag. It got every bit of the bugs, dirt and tar off my car in no time. Just wanted to pass along the information. I'm really into detailing my car and others and I wouldn't give anyone else advice I really didn't believe! Worth a try

I use simple green at least once a week. Works great for cleaning the interior plastics and under the hood.

I believe simple green will remove waxes/protectants. I ONLY use it is before I clay/polish/wax.

I found out from Sal (Zaino) to use WD-40 to remove harded bugs and bird crap"ola". Let it soak for 30 seconds, then wash area with soap/water to remove oil (from WD-40). Will not harm the finish or remove Zaino. Got to love that!
