Does windshield washer fluid remove wax/polish

Does a winter windshield washer fluid strip the wax/polish from your car? I would think and I'm just speculating that the -30 degree washer fluid has something in it to strip the wax from our cars.
Does anyone know?

Most anti-freeze solutions contain a % of glycol, windscreen washer fluid is formulated with either mineral spirits, alcohol or solvents, most will compromise a wax some may compromise a polymer sealant

The generic blue stuff has stained non-clearcoated paint. No surprise.

Have heard the RainX winter (orange?) singled out as destructive to wax. Don't know from experience.

even if it does, its such a small amount that actually hits the paint. i'd suggest just finding the best fluid that suits your needs and use it sparingly when on the highway. i love the prestone bug wash, the smell is amazing and the small amount of ammonia takes the bugs right off.
