dish washing soap

all right guys...got a quick question..so yesterday i washed my car as always, and a lady friend down the street passes by and says "wow, u do a great job washing your car..mind doing mine?" so i did the nice thing and said..ummm sureee lemme just finish mine. (shes super hot! and she was willing to pay) sooo i wash her car leave it all nice..and she shoots me some money but i dont take it cuz id rather take her out..lol..which i am next weekend!

anywho...she said she uses dish washing soap for her car cuz its cheap and she is not willing to pay more for "car" soap..and asked if there was anything wrong with that..im not too sure what the downside of that is..but i just stay away from it..and stik to my meguiar's soap..lol..i didnt know what to tell her. so0o0..thats my question...is there anything wrong with using dishwashing soap? well im sure u experts out there have some kind of input for me. thanks in advance!

Nice work on getting the date!

For one...dishwashing soap can (and will) strip any wax off of the surface...

I've also been told that dishwashing soap will accelerate the deterioration of rubber parts on your car like the door seals and trim by drying them out. It's probably o.k. to use once in a great while (especially if you apply rubber/plastic protection like Aerospace 303 immediately after) to strip wax but not every wash.
