Detailing Question - what is this???

Ok guys, I have this what appears to be a white little circle dot right under my navigation screen. Right above where it says "ACURA" I have a white spot. Anyway's, I can't tell if it's from my IPASS falling and hitting it, or if it's a water spot that is being stubborn and won't come off. I know that plastic scratches, but I've never seen a circle scratch that turns white. I know that the ipass hit the NAVI screen and put a little scratch in that, but I'm figuring that there is NOTHING I can do to get that out, right (is there anything that can be done to remove that? If not, will it affect the performance of the Navi at all?) Well, if anyone has any good ideas on removing the white circle, that would be great. I tried to take pics, but they're not really showing up...

What do you mean by "upset the lamination on the screen)? I used some water and a microfiber towel, but still the scratch isn't coming completely out.... Do you have any other thoughts? I am kind of surprised that it scratched since it wasn't really a direct hit, but nonetheless, I often wonder how women that have nails use this navigation screen without tons of scratches

Not sure where else you can get it, but I believe the Apple store sells an LCD polishing kit with a VERY mildly abrasive solution, a MF towel, and a post-polish cleaner solution. Give it a shot. I have used it on laptop screens.

Don't get freaked out of the polisher leaved horrible hazing, it comes right off with the cleaner solution.

Or, hit the LCD with the PC and a white pad.... JUST KIDDING!
