Recommended seat cleaner?
Recommended seat cleaner?
There is some kind of substance on my backseat in my TSX. What kinds of leather cleaner should be used on the seats in this car? Does it matter if a leather cleaner is applied and the seats are not real leather?
Can any towel be used to do this or should I look for something specific?
Thanks!

"Some kind of substance" sound like something out of a horror flick!
Try a damp towel. If that doesn't work, try a towel and some 10:1 solution of distilled water and Woolite. If still not working, try an over the counter leather cleaner from Pep Boys, NAPA, etc.. full strength.
After you do either of these, follow up with a leather conditioner such as Lexol, etc... to protect the leather.
EDIT:
For reference, the common belief is that in the TSX, if it is perforated, it is leather. If no perforations, not real leather. Auto leather, though, is coated leather. So it is a bit more forgiving than your suede jacket...
