dashboard glare

What products could i use to eliminate dashboard glare? I currently use a meguires product and it creates a shine on my dashboard that reflects to my front wind shield that makes it kind of hard to see.

I used to use Mother's "Preserves" which is actually a very good product. It is much friendlier to the vinyl and smeels much better than Armor All. The problem with it is the more you apply, the higher the shine. it might work well on tires that way, but on the dash it's kinda ugly.

I switched to 303 aerospace for the dash (and vinyl, as well as leather!) and it does not give me that "slick" look. Dash looks much like new only better.

Yeah, I'm gonna have to go ahead and disagree with you there. I just used the 303 protectant for the first time yesterday, and the first thing I noticed was the increased glare. You can see the line if you missed any spots between shiny and matte. Maybe it'll subside with a little time, but at first it's definitely super glary. (Is that a word?)

I use 303 and it's provided great result. I don't spray it on the dash directly, instead I spray my MF and rub it in. Applies more evenly that way and looks great. No glare, just a nice matte finish.

I use (old fashioned) Armor All Protectant Wipes

It gives it a nice new look....without the extra shine....

I never spray directly on dash...

Always spray onto cloth then rub in!!!

Sorry, I spray onto my MF cloth too and applied it onto the dash. It definitely gave it a glare. I hope this goes away with time.

Compared to the dried out stock OEM dash finish? Of course it's gonna have more gloss.

303 is great stuff, but it has a ton of glare. Try Armor All low glare, works great.
