Cleaning vomit out of the seat

Anybody have tips on how to clean vomit out of the perforated seats? My wife had a little too much to drink and puked without warning. I got most of it out and I tried a vacuum but I can still see bits of puke in the perforations. My seats are black too. I tried using a toothpick on each hole but that didn't work very well. I also cleaned the seat with Lexol but haven't tried anything else yet.

The smell is another matter...

oh shit...some guy over at the infiniti forum had to clean his G35 after his dog barfed all over the place.

he ended up taking out the seats and completely stripping the interior just to get rid of the smell and all the chunks lol

hope you don't have to go through this...if you do, the wife has to pay lol

Try sucking it out, it's the only way.

Anyone who lets a dog in a nice car is an idiot, and deserves whatever happens.

WARNING --

There are very .... disturbing photos... in that thread, but i think he explains how to clean the puke out

https://acurazine.com/forums/wash-wax-23/%2A%2Awarning%2A%2A-contains-graphic-pics-puke-need-help-cleaning-interior-705857/

Seems like a mini steam cleaner is your best bet... remove the seats and/or door panels

get what you can out and then douse it with this stuff
http://www.naturemakesitwork.com/home/index.php
"...removes stains and odors caused by foods, blood, vomit, feces, grease, dirt, grass, smoke, perspiration and all other organic stains and odors. "
Get it at Petco or similar. I've got a dog and twins...I know it works! It will take a while to dry but the smell will be gone.

It's no worse than the vomit with all it's stomach acids. Try on a small area first if you think you need to. I've never had it damage any carpet I've used it on. The trick with this stuff is you need to use as much of it as you think got in the seat. For example when Fido let loose on the carpet as a pup, it wasn't uncommon to blot what we could and then put 8oz or more of the stuff right into the carpet in the same spot. The idea is that you already cleaned the surfaces. You need something enzymatic like Nature's Miracle to penetrate and neutralize the stuff in the carpet, carpet padding and seat bolster foam. You may think you have it all gone but the first hot day next summer will really be the proof.

Vomit in the perforated leather! Wow, that's rough. And here I was upset my daughter sat in the back seat wearing a dress with silver glitter. It shed and now the seats sparkle! Vacuum'd, and still there. Maybe they is a fix for that?

Good call. Nothing could be worse that stomach acid. I'll give it a try, thanks for the tip.
