Cleaning questions

ok

1) When you are drying a dark car w/ a shammi (sp) or towel, or even waxing sometimes, what is that stuff that rubs off that looks like the color of your paint? Got me a little worried to see paint rubbing off on the cloths if that is what it is.

2) I got Stoner''s Invisible Glass and used it w/ newspaper. You all say it is great. Didn't streak, but I don't think my windows are too clean either. Am I doign somethign wrong?

thanks

I have lots of problems with my TSX windows. I dont know what it is..i have tried more than one type of glass cleaner. It looks shiny clean but then at certain angles...like when the sun is setting..i see tons of streaks. At other angles it looks spotless. Very weird!

Have you tried a good quality Microfiber cloth? I use Stoners and a PakShak microfiber. Gives INCREDIBLY clean and streak-free windows that are a delight to look through at any angle.

Perhaps you have some kind of residue on the window which isn't being taken off by normal soap washing and Stoners? Have you tried claying a window that you know has a lot of streaks?
