Car Wash?

Whats the best car wash for the TL other than Zaino car wash? I was using Zymol but now I am thinking of switching to mcguiars car wash. Has anyone used just the regular mcguiars car wash?

I think if you take a look at the Washing and Waxing forum, you'd get a lot more help. I can say with confidence that there is a huge disparity between supporters of each car wash and most will probably tell you to try it out and see for yourself. Personally though, I would go with Zaino as I have tested that myself and it has worked wonders. I've seen NXT, never used it personally, but I believe people will claim it to be awesome as well. Look at Jojaoni (sorry i know i spelled it wrong) car, it is in the 3g forum's picture gallery...thats a nicely zainoed car

i use NXT its relatively cheap and works great. i use to use meguiars gold class car wash and it is a fantastic product as well. only reason i switched to NXT is because of good reviews of that product like from auto detailing forums. NXT is from meguiars as well, its just another product line that they sell.

Zaino is the best in my opinion. You can really tell a difference with the finished look.

I will move this to Wash & Wax tomorrow so you get a little more exposure (in the forum).

I'm really happy with the NXT. Used to use Gold Class - which was great, but I think NXT is better.

Just make sure it has high lubricating value. Most washes, are relatively inexpensive anyway, so do some sampling. I use Armor All Car Wash, and am totally happy with it, i use it on all my client cars also.....As long as it doesnt strip waxes, and lifts dirt, its bound to work beautifully. Washing success has a lot to do with your washing techniques also, so consider that......

I like to use a regular carwash like Turtle Wax Gold. Or Meguires. I make sure that the wash is wax safe. You want something that is only going to clean, not remove your wax or polish. Then after I am done washing I apply Z6 just to bring back that luster. I know Meguires has a detailing spray that works just as well.

From most favorite to least:
1) Zaino Z7
2) Meg's Gold Class
3) Mothers Cali Gold
4) Meg's NXT

I have to factor in Meg's #00, but I haven't used it enough yet. So far it's a good contender for the #2 slot.
The thing about Z7 is that it's too expensive. Yes it's concentrated, but they really gotta start selling that stuff in a gallon refill size or something.
Otherwise, I've been using Meg's Gold Class a lot when Zaino or NXT was on my paint.
