I use this on my moms caddy, iw works great if you got wax on the car.

Yes, it's safe to use and great before a nice QD. Although don't use it if the dust is everywhere, that calls for a wash. Try to dust and QD before you go out and not after you come back. Search Autopia-carport.com for more.
