A/C Funk

I have a 99 CRV that has a bit of a funk when the A/C is on. Tried a couple places last summer, but no one really knew what to do.

I saw some stuff in a spray can in the Photo Gallery that made me think to ask.

Thanks

That looks to be it.

So you just spray it in, it does it thing. You're able to your A/C 30 minutes after that? Is there any residue or dust/dirt that you have to clean away?

Thanks

Usually the "funk" is bacteria and fungus growing in the moist condenser of the A/C .. the 1Z spray will do it ..

+1

Replace those filters!

They are cheap and easy to replace.

Thanks for the information, but the problem is a 99 CRV, no cabin filter.

Thus the suggestion for the Klima Cleaner.

What's the consensus on Klima Cleaner? How well does it work? Also, with the TSX, we have the cabin filter - does this have to be removed when using the Klima Cleaner (I'm assuming the vapour of the spray works it's way back so wouldn't the cabin filter impede the flow of the spray?)
