buffer attachment for household drill?

i was wondering if it was a bad idea to use a buffer attachment for a regular drill to wax my NBP TL? i dont know the difference between orbital and the advance stuff... i just wanna wax and polish without spending hours by hand or a hundred somthing dollars to buy a buffer... and info would be appreciated..thanks

i am sure there is something out there you can rig up to use your drill as a wax applicator/remover...just dont be thinking your going to get any swirl correction from it....

Drill won't have the power or the speed to do any good. It even is a poor wax applicator.

Also with the shape you have control issues.

Dont use a cordless drill and attachment to polish/wax/seal a car......I highly urge you to try something else.....even if its by hand.

autogeeks does sell the drill attachment, but I would not recommend using it to polish/wax your whole car (may cause brun-in's). I use it only for spot treatments (swril/scratch removal). I then use the PC 7424 to polish the whole car. Wax by hand.

i seriously doubt you could burn your paint with your drill and the ball thing from mothers....i dont think it was meant for spot scratch removal either, thats what your pc is for....
