Bird poop problem

Today , after washing my car i went inside for 30 minutes tops. Upon exiting my home, i found a HUGE bird poop on my car, splattered when landed.

I immediately washed it off, however it left this stain on my paint. None of it is removed, it is in the exact form of how the poop landed.

I tried car wash, and dial soap, to no avail.

I am going to my deatiler, and he told me has some glaze?

Im very annoyed that of all things to mess with the paint of my car it had to be a bird.

Is there any way i can remove this?

i would say a trip to the detailer is unnecessary. When I experience a similar situation, if it doesn't come off with simple soap and water, I usually just go over the area with a cleaner-wax, and it takes it right off.

If you catch it in time. Bird excement is very acidic, and has a tendency to actually etch a clear coat in a short amount of time. Of course previous protective layers will assist in keeping any damage to a minimal. If you have some cleaner on hand, by all means, give it a shot. If that doesnt help the matter, go with a light polish. In the end, make sure you apply a layer or two of your favored protectant.

Normally what I do is pour a lotttt of water on it to make sure the poop gets moistened. After that, u can wipe it off. It usually works. Just dont take a wet cloth a wipe it off from the beginning. You must pour a lot of water on it first and then wipe.

i think turtle wax polishing compound will get it right out. I use it to get stain off my car and it works great.

I actually keep a small spray bottle of water in the trunk for such times. ;-)

Next time, fill your bucket w/ hot water and pour extremely slowly. It tears that "shit" apart.

I have that happen to me a lot of times, usually using a wax paste and rubbing it deep and leaving for awhile <repeat as necessary>. Some hater used a sharpie to write on my car. It took me several waxes to finally get that $hit off.
