Best wax for WDP

Finally cleaning my car properly today, my products are arriving today so I wanted to get my car cleaned up.
One thing I neglected to purchase was wax.

What would you guys recommend for White diamond pearl?
If it makes any difference, my car does have swerlies in certain spots due to the previous owners cleaning methods.

I prefer to buy the wax today so I can clean and wax it, so autozone, walmart, o'reilly's are all available to go to

*Also interested in getting a sealant*

I would go for a sealant and then wax on top.

sealants are man made and last longer, while waxes are a natural product and dont last as long on the car.

I use blackfire wet diamond sealant and then use a meguires wax

you do know that we have a wash and wax section on the forums?
if you take a little time to read, you can figure out what to buy.

^+1 4star UPP is what I use on all my vehicles, then top that with any of your favorite waxes. My wife owns a WDP cadillac srx and the metallic really pops with the 4star.

You stated that you have swirls in your paint from the previous owner. In my opinion, the type of wax you use is irrelevant until you have your paint properly polished. Once your paint is polished you have a great foundation for keeping your car looking great. Most modern wax/sealants require a properly prepped surface for bonding resulting in maximum protection. A scratched up surface including surface contamination will greatly diminish any form of protection.

^Agreed either polish it or have it polished before you really start to worry about wax.
It will look much better with the imperfections corrected anyways.

I love 4* UPP.

Not as good as Jesstzn, but, hey, he's a pro.

I like to use Collinite 845 w/ OCW as a topper. Produces great gloss and depth.

But, like others said, to get the best results you have to compound/polish all the imperfections out first.
