Applying Zaino with an Orbital

Has anyone applied Zaino with an Orbital? If so, what are your thoughts. I'm just asking because I just Zaino'd my car for the first time and my wrists/elbows/arms were killing me!

Anyway, the main reason I ask is because I liked the shine so much I was planning on doing 3 other cars regularly. I know that on their website they say that using an orbital waste a lot of Zaino, but if your applying it to numerous cars, then it shouldn't be wasted...

why would your elbows and arms hurt?

if it does your applying it wrong.

zaino when wet goes on like butter...

when COMPLETELY DRY... comes off even easier... you should be able to throw a towel across your car and that alone should leave a clean trail.

you SHOULD NOT apply Zaino with an orbital... you will just waste your product.

They just hurt because I washed the car and put on 3 coats of Zaino after doing yard work.

I just can't imagine doing 4 cars like this regularly...

If you are gonna do multiple coats and don't really worry about wasting some product then there are no problems putting it on w/ an orbital. I usually apply wax by hand but the last 2 cars i've done w/t he orbital i've used the orbital to apply the wax. It's easier that way on big cars and helps prevent you from missing spots.

But remember w/ an orbital you use roughly 2x's the amount you'd use by hand.

I disagree ! Zaino and other high end waxes are applied with a "BACK AND FORTH" motion, NOT circular !
When buffing, then its circular motion. IT specifically says that in the instructions !

Nothing beats elbow grease !

hence using an Orbital, it does not go in a circular motion :o

Hey CLPower:

I thought they were all circular motion ? My bad.....I just wouldn't use any machinery on my car, just human ELBOW GREASE !

Now, I will be in Long Beach this weekend in my new 2004 RL Black on Black, brand new, so If you see me driving through Huntington Beach, give a toot ! It has a FRESH layer of ZAINO !
