Any Opinion on the Car Duster's

What is your opinion regarding the California Car Duster?

Does thing works or does it create fine scratches on the paint since you are dragging the dust of the car?

What about the new car blade squechy with siliconed rubber?
Let me Know

If you don't muscle down on it, it wont scratch. It should only be used to gently wipe the car. Read the instructions on prepping it.

Cali Water Blade -- I use it, and I like it -- it is great. I clean mine and wash it in warm water and make sure it is super clean.

It gets rid of about 85% of the water. I use the P21 Absorber or "The Absorber", depending on my mood, to mop-up the rest of the water.

Since I use Zaino, and tiny water spots that are left (very small and far between) are eliminated with a little Z6 Gloss Enhancer.

With my cali car duster, I haven't had to wash my car for about a week (with nice weather). It works great, no side effects. Takes the green haze right off!

I also use the cali water blade. Works much faster than just an absorber alone. I spray a bit of zaino z-6 on it, just glides over the car.

Very happy with both products.

Dont use any dusters!!!!

Dusters push super fine particles of dirt and anything else on the surface of the car into the paint, causing fine scratches and swirl marks....

the dust will be there no matter what..you are fighting a losing battle.......just wash it again if you really cant take it, you will be better off

Hmmm.... Even a car wash will leave fine marks. By that same thought, the people I know who sell and use feather dusters are ruining their cars right now.

I can do more damage doing a "bad" car wash, than using a Cali Car duster carefully.

OTOH -- someone could use a Cali duster, if they were stupid, and rape a car's finish. So, it depends on who is using the "tools."

BTW -- the dust does come off, and I don't have any scratches on the car!

I like the duster! Works really well...no scratches at all. People wonder how my cars stays so clean and they don't realize that it's only about a 5-10 minute upkeep ritual here and there.

Never tried the Blade so I don't know about it.

Been using the cali duster for years. No scratches/swirls at all on red/black/blue/silver cars I have had.
