4* UPP from Exceldetail.

Initial reaction to the 4* UPP was easy to apply and remove. The temperature here was in the 40s so I allowed it 30 min to dry even tho the bottle said 15 min. Was very easy to remove even at those tepms etc.

It was applied over 1 layer of Z1 and initially I did the hood and front fenders. I have to say its a lot slicker than Z1 which was applied the day before.

So to be fair I applied another layer of fresh Z1 to the door beside the fender .. and yes .. the UPP is slicker.

Its been cloudy here the last few days so seeing the gloss was difficult but last nite I went to a meeting and on the way home stopped in a parking lot under the lights and the UPP is stunning. You can actually see the difference between the fender and the "A" pillar that wasn't done with UPP. The done panels have a good deep wet look .. It will be interesting to see if it improves with a couple more layers.

Dale is one of the more discriminating customers I have. Im certainly glad it has thus far met or exceeded your expectations. We have made UPP up to be a grand product, and so far it hasnt let me down!
Last I remember was you saying if it didnt meet the hype, you were going to let us have it!!

What is Z1? Are you referring to a Zaino product that is no longer made? How could that be a fair comparison?

Sorry my mistake .. was a typo .. should have said Z2 that was applied over Z1 ... Yes I still have Z1 and just used up the last of the Z2.

Good catch.

I use Zaino All in One as my base, then put a coat or two of UPP. I apply Opti-Seal every month or so to keep up the appearance. UPP is pretty impressive stuff!
