Im 20 and i just got my 05 Tl mt, black on black, and i love it. I am planning on putting the a-spec package on it over the summer, but i was wondering what is the most hp i could get without putting a turbo or supercharger in it.

47 Anthracite/Ebony 5-AT Rating: 9
Traded in a 2000 CL Type S the week after Hurricane Katrina. Local dealer was out of commission, I was temp relocated to Baton Rouge, and the electronic gremlins struck. Traded car in while it was still in the service bay.
The dealer gave me $1,000 over book because of the excellent condition, even at 110K miles. It was my favorite car until I had the TL for a week. It outshines ithe CL in every way except one.
I love this car. I'll give it a 9 though because of dissapointing quailty control - headliner already drooping around CHMSL, sloppy glove box fit, loose leather on seats. All stuff that can be fixed, but disappointing for a Honda. Wish I had the 6-MT, but none available. Wish it came in San Marino Red like my CL - what a killer color!
I do get over 30 mpg on my 85 mile commute (round trip) each day. The satellite radio is great, and I love the power.
Went with the Anthracite for something different. Went with Ebony because the dealer wanted $700 more for the Quartz (there were 3 Ebony and only 1 Quartz on the lot). I personally didn't care for the mix of wood and aluminum on the Camel colored interiors. No offense intended.
The only thing ever to go wrong with the old CL was the tranny at 32K, but Walker Acura gave me an RSX loaner for two days, so I had a little fun.
I'm a Honda guy - first car was a '73 Civic! I've since had four other Civics, two Accords, and a Prelude. The wife drives an Odyssey, and we "share" a 2003 S2000 on the weekends.
Come to think about it, I guess being 47 ain't to bad afterall!

I'm 20. My first TL I had was a 1999. My dad bought it for me when I was 14 and I had to wait till I was 15 to have it Ugly car but with the body kit it looked a little better ~ it was a fun nice fast little first car to have. Just 4 months ago 8/5/05 I bought a 2005 TL. Dark gray on quartz (light gray). I love it! You can not go wrong with this car. It has everything and them some. I was going to get a BMW but they don't even touch what the TL has! Great car, great price! The navi acts up a little. I'm here in Houston and I will look for something and it will send me to New York! I think there may be some settings that need to be changed but other than that I would say for 2000 bucks get it! It all worth it.
Any other TL drivers here in the Houston area?

I'm 19, and no my parents didn't buy it for me. I invest in real estate. I love my 2004 TL and all of its goodies. I would rate the car as an 8.5 overall, losing points for fit and finish/quality. I traded my silver (the best color) 2004 TSX 5AT in for the TL after a little less than a year to upgrade to the Navi system. I have found the TL's quality subpar compared to the TSX. From the door seams, interior door pulls, and the entire upper dash have aged poorly. There are quite a few interior sqeaks and rattles my Acura dealership has been working on, especially with a cold start. I do not regret my purchase, but I do miss the silver of my TSX, as well as its chrome door handles and window edging. Also I prefer the tail end of the TSX to the TL, I just wish the TSX had LED tails.

im 26. I have a white with tan leather 6mt. I wished i gotten the aspec instead. The suspensition isn't as sporty as i like.
i ran with an evo the other day going at least 120 mph. The TL was walking away from the EVo. Is this possible?

Just recently got my 99tl with navi black on tan, in process of putting racing wheels on my Tl already put the type S lights on the rear came along way came from a 1996 Chrysler Sebring LXi, nice looking car if you can keep it together. B4 the Sebring had a 90 Nissan Maxima Se.
